How have you seen God working in your life?
Since this is our third church plant, I've been so grateful to see how the Lord has worked in the first two in so many lives over the years as well as in my life and my family's lives. We have seen people come to Christ and grow in their faith. We have seen people change in dramatic ways. All the while experiencing our of faith grow and grow. Specifically, when I planted our first church I was full of the fear of failure - so worried about what people would think of me if it failed. But now, on #3, I have learned to trust the work fully to the Lord. After all, it's his church, not mine!
How have you seen God working in your family?
We have two daughters, ages 12 and 10. One of the reasons we felt confirmed in our calling to plant this third church is their desire to do it! "Dad, when are we going to plant a church again? We like our churches better than these other ones!" That's comforting to hear and to see how they've grown in their faith and trust in Christ. My wife, Jen, has been a brave soldier in all three works as well, and her desire to plant again has been more evidence of how God has been faithful to carry us along through these works.
How have you seen God working in your church?
We have had the privilege of seeing people come to a saving faith in Christ, invest themselves deeply into His Kingdom mission to make all things new, explore the depths of their sin and feel the freedom of His grace, find meaning for all of life in the Gospel story, serve the poor sacrificially, mentor one-another faithfully, come alongside many broken hearted people, and help transform the cities we've planted in into the City of God - full of worshippers.

All Souls Church of St. Louis is a Gospel-formed family for the city of St. Louis. Formed by Grace, given meaning for all of life in his Word, and full of joy for his Mission.
